Just few years ago, an old church built in late 19 century was renovated using relative expensive paints (unfortunately i do not know what type) but after few years it started to peel off. The Church was built using limestones and lime. This phenomena appears also in the restoration of Zanzibar stone town built the same way. Can anyone explain the phenomena and the/a solution or suggestion to this? The climate is hot humin tropical climate at the coast! Leka
