Could somebody explain me abaut this issue?

Hello Oswaldo. I have a response here from Aaron Titus, Technical Project Coordinator at CSI:
"A Noncollusion Affidavit generally refers to a document signed by a bidder affirming that he or she did not collude with or against other bidders to artificially inflate the price of goods or services. Here is some example language from a Pennsylvania Noncollusion Affidavit:
(1) The price(s) and amount of this bid have been arrived at independently and without consultation, communication or agreement with any other contractor, bidder or potential bidder.
(2) Neither the price(s) nor the amount of this bid, and neither the approximate price(s) nor approximate amount of this bid, have been disclosed to any other firm or person who is a bidder or potential bidder, and they will not be disclosed before bid opening.
(3) No attempt has been made or will be made to induce any firm or person to refrain from bidding on this contract, or to submit a bid higher than this bid, or to submit any intentionally high or noncompetitive bid or other form of complementary bid.
(4) The bid of my firm is made in good faith and not pursuant to any agreement or discussion with, or inducement from, any firm or person to submit a complementary or other noncompetitive bid.
(5) (Name of Firm) its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, and employees are not currently under investigation by any governmental agency and have not in the last four years been convicted or found liable for any act prohibited by state or federal law in any jurisdiction, involving conspiracy or collusion with respect to bidding on any public contract..." -- I hope this information helps you. Please let me know if you need anything else.
password? Posted by: on 2006-06-20 12:19
when I get to the end of this course and click on the 'take the test' button, it asks for a password 'provided in your course material,' but there isn't one anywhere in the course material that I can find. Help?
Thx -- LV

Hi Lotte; The code word is placed on a random page within the course PDF. If you are having trouble finding it, you can use the search tool to find the word. In order to access the Adobe Reader toolbar containing the search button, press "esc" while viewing the course to exit fullscreen, and then press the "F8" key to restore the toolbar. Then simply search for the word "word" and the page with the codeword will come up in the results. If you still cannot find it, please send an email to me at info@aecdaily.com and I will send you the codeword. Good luck! -- Mark
Problems with Questions 1, 3 and 10 Posted by: on 2006-11-19 13:17
Having completed the test, I noted three questions that either have incorrect answers or multiple answers:
Q1: I answered that Divison 1 sections are part of the procurement documents and it was scored as incorrect. However, Slide 16 in the presentation clearly shows that Div. 01 is indeed part of the procurement documents.
Q3: All of the items are clearly part of the procurement documents (again, ref. Slide 16). Therefore the answer should be "None of the above" (as in "None of the above items are NOT part of the procurement documents."). However, this was scored as incorrect. It appears the test's author has tripped himself up with a double-negative. I suggest the question be re-phrased "Which of the following ARE part of the procurement documents?". THEN the answer would be "All of the above.", which I suspect is scored as a correct answer.
Q11: Both the 3rd and 4th possible answers listed are correct; given the problems on the Questions 1 and 3, I wonder if the scoring accepts both answers as correct.
I passed, but don't appreciate scoring 81% instead of 100% due to flawed test materials!!

I stand corrected on Question 3 and withdraw that from the above post. I see the nuance in the question now. Questions 1 and 10 still seem suspect to me.

Hi Peter, thanks for your input! I will bring those questions to the exam editors and see if they can clarify this for us.
