Description: In the late 1960's, the civil defense market for breathing air was evolving. American Bristol Industries responded by innovating a system concept, i.e. sole source responsible for all of the components of a breathing air system; compressor, purification, storage and delivery/cylinder charging. This extraordinary concept gained ABI industry-benchmarking and leadership through a single package known as Cylinder Charge System (CCS).
