Explain LEED and illustrate where and how paint fits in and contributes to LEED certification.
Describe various industry testing methods and standards for certifying “green” products.
Specify paints not only for a LEED project but also in the creation of a healthier environment.
Identify and discuss future trends of paint.

Background: ran Mooney has over 27 years in the paint industry and has a background in design. Her extensive knowledge of the paint business, along with her passion in art, architecture and design was the perfect combination when electing to join Benjamin Moore in July of 2003. In her current role as a Color and Design Specialist for Benjamin Moore she dedicates her time, along with a team of color specialists, to uncover the latest trends in color as well as emerging design movements. Fran is a spokesperson for Benjamin Moore’s color forecast, Color Pulse®, and a facilitator of Benjamin Moore color programs. Fran also represents Benjamin Moore by attending a number of national trade shows such as NeoCon, the Hospitality and Design Show, National Kitchen and Bath Show, ICFF, and the Detroit Auto Show. Fran is a member of the Color Marketing Group, and industry member of ASID and IIDA.
