| Lambton Doors develops, manufactures and sells high quality and value added interior wood doors and frames up to 90 minutes, of standard and ecological types, for the high-end residential, commercial, architectural and institutional markets. These doors and frames meet the various North American building codes, as well as environmental codes when applicable, while respecting the customers’ requirements. We developed an EnviroDesignTM Series doors with no urea formaldehyde. Our doors and frames may contribute to the calculation of points for projects pursuing LEED® certification in Materials & Resources (MRc4, 5, 6 and 7) and Indoor Environmental Quality categories (EQc4.1, 4.2 and 4.4). Our specialties are fire-rated doors, sound-resistant, x-ray and bullet-resistant doors.
Over the last 15 years, we have definitely moved forward to a better understanding of the environmentally friendly manufacturing process and the design of the plant with the replacement and addition of new equipment. We also invested in our organization’s knowledge with focus on research and development to offer customers green products which have the least impact on environment at a better price. We also believe in learning benefits for employees by supporting them in their attendance of classroom sessions through the USGBC and CaGBC conferences and within Conference and Exposition events such as Greenbuild International Conference and Expo. Lambton Doors is a member of recognized associations such as FSC, CaGBC (Canada Green Building Council), AWI, CSC (Construction Specifications Canada), CSI, DHI, WDMA and AWMAC (Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada). We are also accredited with the AWI QCP (Quality Certification Program). |
