FERGUSON SIMEK CLARK is a Yellowknife based firm of consulting engineers and architects which specializes in remote cold regions technology. The company, which has operated continuously in Canada’s north since 1976, employs approximately 60 people in offices in Yellowknife and Iqaluit, Northwest Territories and most recently Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. It is the only integrated architectural/ engineering firm in northern Canada with resident staff covering the full spectrum of architectural and engineering services including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental and project management. The firm has worked in every community in the Northwest Territories. The FSC design offices utilize the most current computer technology with all drawings being generated through AUTOCADD software. The design teams are linked through the firm’s networked computer system. Clients can be served electronically through linkages via the Internet.
