Icynene® is a spray-in-place soft foam insulation and air barrier that is 100% water-blown and contains no harmful emissions, like HCFCs, HFAs, HFCs or formaldehyde. It is also available as an injection formulation for retrofit of historic buildings. Icynene® permanently adheres to the construction material – without shrinking, sagging or settling – while filling and sealing all joints, crevices and gaps. It completely seals any cavity so there is no compromise between design, functionality and performance. Because Icynene® is a soft foam it moves with the expansion and contraction of steel buildings.
