MBTechnology was founded in 1983 and specializes in manufacturing SBS Modified Bitumen Roofing & Underlayment systems.  These include a variety of systems, which can be applied through the use of cold adhesives, heat welding, or hot asphalt.  Our roofing systems contribute to the following Leed Points:

          MR Credit 5.1   Regional Materials

          MR Credit 4 Recycled Content

SS Credit 7.2 Heat island effects

To address the ongoing demand for energy efficient roofing systems, MBTechnology has made available the metalflex SBS membrane, featuring a white, reflective, aluminum surface. This unique foil-faced surface absorbs much less heat than a conventional roofing system does, thus resulting in the reduction of a building’s energy consumption.

Metalflex SBS Cool white 24 has reflectivity characteristics exceeding the requirements set forth by Energy Star Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations.

Services:

A systematic roof inspection and maintenance program is essential to the satisfactory long-term performance of any roof, as it allows for the detection of any potential problems in their initial stages, or the prevention of them altogether.

Once a roofing system is installed, most manufacturers will only return to the roof in case of leakage. Our warranty is unique, in that we will inspect the roof every 2-3 years at no charge to the owner. Following each inspection, a comprehensive report is prepared, which describes the condition of the roof. This report will alert the owners to any areas requiring maintenance. In the event of any minor problems on the roof, we will repair them at no charge, even if they have not yet resulted in leakage.
