Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Compare different storage capacities and the costs of different storage solutions.
- Analyze the concept of high-density storage solutions and examine the safety and security features for businesses and institutions.
- Discover the variety of applications for high-density mobile shelving storage systems and illustrate how the resulting work environment potentially increases employee productivity through ease-of-use, and improved sustainable control of stored materials, organization, and workflow.
- Discuss the architectural design considerations for a specific application relative to the installation of a high-density mobile shelving storage system to ensure daylight views are preserved, energy consumption is reduced and the overall indoor environment is improved.
- Analyze the attributes and performance criteria of high-density mobile shelving storage systems relative to qualifying for credits under green building programs.
