Approximately 1 hour

One of the most important and least explored phases of lighting design is that complex and indefinite one which is known as glare. (M. Luckiesh and L.L Holiday; 1925). Proper lighting design, architectural lighting and glare mitigation are often hard to combine. Whether it is a certain appearance desired, but the fixture selected is not conducive to the space because of glare. VCP, UGR, Intensity or Luminance values on their specification sheet? How do we balance glare mitigation or create a healthy space while meeting the architectural design intent? This presentation will teach the designer how to read and understand these values and terms all while creating a healthy space.

Presented by various experts on behalf of Cooper Lighting Solutions.
