Heavy Duty Anchorage for Concrete Structures

Approximately 1 hour

This program presents an investigation of the merits and shortcomings of weld plates, channel embeds and post-drilled anchors as the main methods commonly used for heavy connections to concrete building elements. The presentation reviews the engineering and site practice behind each method, discusses the basic material science and limitations, and presents a number of real project examples with high-performance demands. Much of the material is covered graphically for a quick grasp of the fundamental principles.

Presented by various experts on behalf of Leviat.
