The Horrell Group is primarily engaged in the traditional practice of Architecture, however, as architects we are trained, tested and licensed in areas outside of the narrow scope of design attributed to our profession in recent years by a movement toward specialization. The Horrell Group has experience in the research, survey, design, and construction administration of projects related to accessibility even prior to the 1977 integration of the North Carolina Accessibility Code into the local building construction ordinances. We began incorporating the ADA requirements with the implementation of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1991.
