It includes a discussion of how these documents are created, how manufacturers use the information to improve products, and how the A&D community can use disclosures and products to affect immediate, meaningful change. Optimized and net positive material concepts and certifications are introduced, demonstrating the power of product choice and sustainable design to benefit social equity, human health and the health of Planet Earth. Additionally, the course addresses key terminology to aid in the process of specifying sustainable products.
