Title: Sustainability Product Manager, Bristolite Daylighting Systems
Background: Scott Brodie, CSI, LEED® Green Associate, has worked in the daylighting industry since 1984 when he attended the initial International Daylighting Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix, AZ. Scott earned his degree from Glendale College in Glendale, AZ and also studied at the University of Phoenix. As a LEED® Green Associate since 2010, Scott has worked on many LEED projects. Mr. Brodie formerly served as the Western Regional Manager for Sunoptics, an Acuity Brands Company. Scott currently is serving as a Sustainability Product Manager for Bristolite Daylighting Systems, a world leading manufacture of daylighting solutions. In addition to heading up Bristolite’s “Green Building Technologies”, Scott is also managing their face to face AIA CE Lunch and Learn program. Bristolite currently offers approximately 300 Face to Face AIA CE Lunch and Learns per year throughout the United States. Scott also is a member of CSI, and performs AIA CE Lunch and Learns thru the CSI platform. Scott has a tremendous knowledge of the industry and in particular of the emerging technologies that are now available and how they are designed in light of the new energy codes and standards.
