Provides an overview of insulated metal panels as barrier wall within rainscreen wall systems, their performance benefits and contribution to energy efficiency.
Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Describe the components of an insulated metal panel, its performance benefits for energy efficient envelopes and how it may be used as a barrier wall system.
- Explore building envelope advantages of insulated metal panel barrier walls compared to traditional forms of construction.
- Describe rainscreen skin options, IMP design options and accelerated build speed benefits.
- Discuss needs of high performance buildings and importance of envelope design.

Brent also leads Kingspan’s Net Zero Energy program looking after the America’s, supports strategic planning for the business development group and provides insight on current and future sustainability initiatives keeping Kingspan at the forefront of our industry.
