Provides an overview of the insulated metal panel in commercial and industrial building applications, its components and manufacturing, design options, and contribution to energy performance and build speed savings.
Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Describe the components of an insulated metal panel that contribute to is energy performance.
- Describe energy performance of insulated metal panels, including a comparison of payback and energy cost savings between traditional construction and IMP construction.
- List the facing, design and core type options available for insulated metal panels.
- Describe increased build speed for an industrial building using insulated metal panels, and list methods of installation over pre-engineered structural frames.

Brent also leads Kingspan’s Net Zero Energy program looking after the America’s, supports strategic planning for the business development group and provides insight on current and future sustainability initiatives keeping Kingspan at the forefront of our industry.
