This course is aimed at Contractors and their trades who are working on green building projects or who would like to be more involved in green buildings. This course will provide an overview of what a green building is, different ways that Contractors and their trades can get involved, and the key areas that fall under the Contractor’s responsibility when executing a LEED® project.

Name: Erika Mayer
Title: President, Lunchbox Consulting Inc.
Background: Ms. Mayer is a sustainable building specialist with 12 years experience in the buildings industry. She was instrumental in the development of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and helped bring LEED and its related programs and resources to Canada. Throughout her career she has worked as a liaison with building industry stakeholders to help educate on a variety of technologies and strategies with a specific focus on green buildings. She has expertise in LEED and other green building rating systems and is a proven resource to help clients achieve their overall sustainability goals. Erika currently conducts LEED Project Certification Reviews for the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) in the US and is a LEED Green Associate faculty with the CaGBC.
