Background: Jerry Combs has served in the construction industry for over 25 years, his career started as a mason tender for his family’s business. After a short time as an automotive engineer, he returned to the construction industry where he focused on Building Envelopes. Jerry has used his attention to detail to solve problems related to mold and mildew due to poor design, product failures and improper product installation. He has served as a judge for the Fastest Trowel Competition at the World of Concrete and as a team member for Skills USA. Jerry attended Purdue University North Central where he studied Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Construction Specification Institute and a member of the Society of Engineers. He has written two previous AIA CEU programs.
