- Improve productivity and employ a digital workflow when searching for building products.
Share building product information with your team.
Markup drawings, specifications or product information using a number of tools.
Take snapshots and capture product information.
Create digital design books (to share product suggestions with the owner).

Name: Jeff Fandl
Title: Editor, The Blue Book Building and Construction Network
Background: Jeff Fandl has been employed with The Blue Book Building and Construction Network since 1983. In his current position as Editor, he is responsible for the maintenance and development of all the information contained in the Network’s regional print directories, online at thebluebook.com and in various digital workflow solutions provided free to the industry.
Mr. Fandl began his career with The Blue Book Building and Construction Network in the Editorial Department and became the company’s Editorial Manager in 1988. In 2002, Mr. Fandl was promoted to his current position as the company’s Editor and serves as a member of the company’s Operating Board.
Prior to joining The Blue Book Network, he was a business analyst at Dun & Bradstreet, Hackensack, NJ. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Ithaca College. Jeff is a past President of the Directory Publishers Forum for North America and a twenty-year member of CSI (the Construction Specifications Institute). He is also an active member of numerous other industry associations.
Mr. Fandl currently resides in Dutchess County, New York with his wife and four children. When not striving to ensure the most complete and accurate information on the planet, Mr. Fandl strives to entertain with a flair for magic and a ferocious harmonica.
