Waterproof roof and balcony membrane systems are designed to prevent building envelope failure and keep areas below the deck surface dry. Presented here are pedestrian (walkable) roof and balcony polyvinyl chloride (PVC) membrane systems, with discussions on their advantages and membrane construction, as well as waterproofing concepts and design considerations for integration into the building envelope.

Experienced in working throughout North America with the A&E community, Contractors and Distributors, Grant has a firm understanding of applicable Code and Envelope requirements resulting in proper waterproofing practices. At Tufdek, Grant applies all his experience assisting in Technical inquiries, and installation with the design community, Building Officials and Contractors, while also managing the US Sales force of Independent Agents and Tufdek's Canadian Prairie Region of Authorized Dealers. Being members of both National Organizations such as RCI, and Regional ones such as Western States Roofing Contractors Association as well as local Canadian Chapters, keeps Tufdek up to date on Industry and Building Code Trends.
