Title: National Sales and Marketing Manager, Halfen Anchoring Systems
Background: Victor Yakin has been with Halfen since the year 2000, as National sales and marketing manager. During his tenure at Halfen, Victor has positioned the division as a leader in façade anchoring systems. His main focus has been on offering professional attention from his sales force, and complete anchoring solutions to its customers and to the design community. Before working for Halfen, Victor worked for other corporations, both in the USA and in Mexico, designing and marketing HVAC systems, glazing systems, and other products and services.
Continuing education has been a core principle that Victor has strongly supported. Some core initiatives that he has taken to disseminate the Halfen technology in North America have been: AIA-approved programs, overhauling and launching company websites, developing and offering literature and 3-part specifications in CD-ROM, exhibiting at major architectural and engineering shows, and visiting contractors and designers throughout North America on a regular basis. Victor continually works in partnership with engineers and designers from Halfen in Germany and England, introducing state-of-the-art technologies to the American construction industry, and keeping Halfen USA at the forefront in anchoring and fixing solutions.
