Background: Maria currently leads Building Science Integration in DuPont Building Innovations. She received a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. Degree in Polymer Science and is a member of CSI, ASHRAE, BEC, ABAA, and other trade & professional organizations. DuPont is a Cornerstone AIA Partner. Maria authored many papers and patents and has been an invited speaker to many national and international conferences in Materials and Building Science.
