Name: Chad Stroike, CFPS
Title: Chemicals Business Unit I Fire Protection Engineering Manager, Hilti, Inc.
Background: Chad D. Stroike serves as the Fire Protection Engineering Manager, Fire Protection Systems, for Hilti, Inc with responsibilities for both the Canadian and U.S. markets. Chad holds his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University having graduated in the Engineering Technology, Fire Protection and Safety program in May of 1997, and is recognized as a NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist.
Major responsibilities at Hilti include managing the Fire Protection Engineering team in Tulsa, OK and supporting Fire Protection Specialists located throughout North America by overseeing complex product applications and engineering judgments during construction phases.
Chad is also responsible for implementing our strategic firestop product testing and development program where he works with such agencies as UL, ULC, and Intertek testing labs. Major duties here involve research and design of new solutions for building fire protection as well as the expansion of applications for existing products. He also heads up new product testing.
Other duties include editing technical documents and creating training material for the Hilti fire protection product line. Chad also manages and is an instructor of the education programs for Hilti accredited firestop specialty contractors.
