        Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
    
        - Identify and describe the manufacturing processes and physical properties of the three most common types of rigid roofing insulation.
 Explain the critical properties of roofing insulation applications.
 Recognize the LTTR (Long Term Thermal Resistance) as a method that affects R-values used in calculating thermal performance.
 Classify the various roles rigid insulation can play in sustainable building design and its conformity to LEED performance criteria.
 List the engineering advantages of PMR systems.
 Examine how using PMR and garden roof assemblies can reduce heat island effects.
