Identify the sustainability and performance benefits of specifying fly ash as a component in concrete construction.
Describe the energy efficient aspects of radiant floor heating.
Discuss at least three sustainable products/systems incorporated into the Kevin deFrietas Sustainable Design Home in San Diego.
Recognize how, through environmentally conscious design, a house building project can have minimal impact on the environment and maintain the integrity of the site.
Discuss the structural properties of the Bay Bridge construction project, San Francisco, and explain why the bridge is expected to have a long robust, durable lifespan.
