Title: Marketing Manager for Strategic Initiatives, Dryvit Systems, Inc.
Background: Mr. Dazel has been a registered Architect in the State of Ohio since 1992. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS Degree in Architecture (1986) and a long-standing member of the American Institute or Architects (AIA).
Mr. Dazel was employed in the architectural profession from 1986 to 1996 completing the Intern Development Program (IDP) and serving as project architect for numerous large scale governmental and institutional projects. Mr. Dazel was also employed as a Faculty Member at the University of Toledo from 1990 to 1996 in their Engineering / Architecture 2-year Associates Degree Program.
With respects to Building Envelope Performance, Mr. Dazel has spent the last fourteen (14) years in the Exterior Insulated Wall Surfacing Industry. As an employee with Dryvit Systems, Inc., Mr. Dazel has held positions such as Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Manager for Strategic Initiatives. Under his current responsibilities, Mr. Dazel manages Dryvit’s National Chain Accounts programs, focuses on large scope business opportunity development and is in charge of both the AIA and USGBC / GBCI accredited presentation programs. Mr. Dazel’s singular focus is the promotion of the many positive attributes Dryvit Exterior Insulated Claddings have to offer the commercial construction marketplace such as superior energy efficiency, construction and operating cost control and reduced environmental impact. Mr. Dazel has also served on the EIFS Industry Members Association (EIMA) technical and marketing committees and served two (2) years on the EIMA Board of Directors.
Mr. Dazel has been employed by Dryvit Systems, Inc. – the industry leader in Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) – for the past nine (9) years and is currently as the Marketing Manager for Strategic Accounts. In this responsibility, Mr. Dazel engages the many national chain companies and promotes the many positive attributes such as superior energy efficiency, construction and operating cost control and reduced environmental impact that Exterior Insulated Claddings have to offer the commercial construction marketplace.
The total of his professional experience has allowed him to become an authority and expert on not only in Exterior Wall Surfacing Materials such as Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) but Building Envelope Design, Detailing, Specification and Performance.
