Background: Michael Sandoe is R&D Manager at Vita Nonwovens. Prior to joining Vita, Michael held technical product development and engineering management positions with Janesville Acoustics, Sackner Products and Van Dresser Corporation, all regards synthetic and natural fiber nonwovens for thermal, acoustical and molded fiber products. His formal education, in wood and fiber materials, includes a B.SC.F degree from the University of Toronto and an M.S. from Oregon State University. His technical articles have been published by ASTM, SAE, Forest Products Journal, Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering, and other organizations. He is the inventor for patents in the U.S. and the U.K.
