Alcan Composites USA Inc. introduced the first aluminum composite material (ACM) to the North American market in 1977, as Alucobond® Material, and it continues to be the performance standard in many architectural applications. We introduced Sintra® Material to the Western Hemisphere market in 1980, and it quickly became popular for a wide range of display-related uses. This lightweight but rigid, moderately expanded plastic board remains the standard in its product type. Recent new product introductions such as Kapa® and Sintra®top continue to keep us at the leading edge of performance in both architectural and creative sheet materials. Through a network of highly qualified and deeply experienced distributor/fabricators, we now market our line of products throughout North and South America
