Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- List several causes of hearing loss and discuss the health issues associated with exposure to excessive noise.
- Define six key acoustical terms and explain their relationship to how we hear and what we hear.
- Explain the ways in which a sprayed cellulose thermal/acoustic finish enhances the indoor environmental quality of a space in terms of safety, occupant comfort, aesthetics, and lighting.
- Use case studies to argue the environmental benefits and various cost benefits of specifying a spray-applied cellulose thermal/acoustic finish during the initial phase of the project design.
