Screwjack Pedestal Systems: A Level Approach to Building Rooftop Decks
Provides an overview of the components, features, and design options of adjustable deck support systems, including a discussion on planning and installation guidelines.
Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Describe the features of the adjustable deck support system that protects the roof surface from damage and leaks.
- List the structural components of adjustable deck support systems.
- List the three different structural grades of support and the weight capacity for each.
- Recognize appropriate installation conditions and describe proper installation guidelines to facilitate a durable and level installation.
