Background: Doug Gehring has been in the building materials industry for 29 years formerly with Celotex Corporation and with BPB since the July 2000 acquisition of the Celotex acoustical ceiling and gypsum board business units. Doug is responsible for acoustical ceiling and gypsum board product and system technical support in the U.S. market. He also assists in the development of marketing and technical literature for the BPB product lines. He is an active member of ASTM E-33 on Environmental Acoustics and the CISCA Seismic Committee. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a registered professional engineer in the State of Florida.
