Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Select and specify the correct backstop series for your facility.
Identify the correct backstop model and accessories based on the intended use of the facility, and the level of play and rules governing play.
Determine and discuss appropriate backstop models and accessories based on the building design and construction, and the interference and coordination with mechanical systems and trades.
Assess and compare six key criteria which pertain to, and aid in the selection of, a manufacturer for a specific project.

Name: Chris Broome, CSI, LEED AP
Title: Contract Market Manager, Draper, Inc.
Background: Chris joined Draper in 1994 and has worked in all aspects of the company’s business. He is currently responsible for the company’s sales to the architectural channel for all three product lines. He works with product and regional sales managers to promote Draper projection screens, window shades, and gymnasium equipment to the architectural community and our dealer network.
In the past, Chris has served as Export Sales Manager, overseeing the sales of Draper products in over 100 countries through a period of strong growth. He has also served as a Regional Sales Manager covering the Midwestern United States. In this capacity, he worked with Draper dealers, as well as with architects and consultants, supporting all three of the company’s product lines.
Chris is a member of CSI, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is involved in the Indiana chapter of USGBC. He has been involved in a number of initiatives to protect our environment through improvements to Draper’s products and operations.
