        Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
    
        - List the key characteristics of different, traditional hand drying methods and show their impact on the environment.
Summarize the evolution of hand dryer technology and discuss the research that led to the development of the new concepts in design of energy-efficient hand dryers.
Explain how new hand dryer technology works and discuss current industry standards and certifications which identify energy-efficient, hygienic hand dryers.
Identify the sustainability benefits of new hand dryer technology in terms of energy savings, reduction of waste and pollution, and hygiene.
Examine the carbon footprint of new hand dryer technology relative to helping a building reduce its carbon footprint.
Discuss the performance criteria of new hand dryers relative to qualifying for credits under green building programs.
