Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- List three design principles that govern good laboratory design.
- Identify and describe six key needs that are powering the development of labs that meet current needs, yet remain adaptable to future change.
- Describe how material selection and pegboard design options allow for a flexible and customizable design plan.
- Discuss how shelving, cabinets, and countertops can all contribute to a lab design that accommodates present and future needs of the lab and researchers.
