Name: Lance Olson
Title: Manager – Field Technical Support, LP Building Products
Background: Lance has more than twenty years of experience in the design, manufacture, and application of exterior residential siding. He is responsible for the quality and technical services related to Louisiana Pacific’s exterior siding products. Some of his responsibilities include code compliance management, product application training, new product field assessment, product testing, warranty metrics analysis, and technical support to customers throughout the distribution chain. Lance is a quality engineer with the American Society of Quality, and a member of the American Wood Preservers Association (AWPA), and the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM). Lance actively participates with the International Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) and other national, state, or local code authorities. He is also connected with industrial organizations such as the APA-The Engineered Wood Association (APA) and the Composite Panel Association (CPA). Louisiana Pacific produces LP SmartSide® trim and siding and LP Canexel® Siding.
