Indiana limestone is featured in many iconic buildings across North America. Limestone composite panels offer the same beauty and durability as solid stone in a lightweight product that gains flexural strength and impact resistance from its aluminum honeycomb core. This course presents an overview of limestone composite panels from fabrication to installation, and explores the benefits, testing, and applications of this cost-saving and versatile cladding option.

Name: Ben Wojcikiewicz, AKBD
Title: Director of Product Development & Innovation, Polycor Inc.
Background: With a broad range of experience in the Building Materials sector, Ben Wojcikiewicz came to Indiana Limestone in 2016 to lead their Product Management function, and assumed the role of Director, Product Development & Innovation for Polycor after their merger in late 2018. Starting with the customer, the design thinking process, and innovation are the guideposts for his work at Polycor. His passion for all facets of design and architecture and the intersection of that with the ability of building product manufacturers to deliver relevant solutions are the focal points of his work. Ben graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Notre Dame in 2002 and has held an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer credential from the NKBA since 2007. He currently resides in the greater Atlanta area – near Polycor’s Georgia Marble operation in Tate, GA.
