Background: Professor Mo Ehsani is an internationally recognized expert and researcher in the use of FRP and a professor of structural engineering at the University of Arizona. In 1994, Dr. Ehsani founded QuakeWrap Inc., a leading designer, supplier and installer of quality, innovative FRP products for the repair and strengthening of structures. QuakeWrap is committed to providing economical solutions and unparalleled service to engineers, architects, and home owners.
Dr. Ehsani has been featured on several news outlets such as CNN, NPR, the History Channel, and the Engineering News Record (ENR) for his expertise on the strengthening of structures, particularly related to earthquakes, terrorist attacks and other potential structural disasters. He also holds several patents, including one on strengthening masonry structures with FRP. His studies have been published in numerous technical journals such as Earthquake Spectra and the ACI and ASCE Journals. He is a Fellow of the ASCE, ACI, a past director of the Arizona Chapter of ACI, and has served as President of the Structural Engineers Association of Arizona. He is a registered professional engineer in Arizona and California.
