Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Identify at least four factors that can cause floor covering and coating failures.
- Outline relationship between vapor transmission and dew point.
- Assess the ASTM E1643 –11 industry standard specification as it relates to below slab vapor protection.
- Identify at least two other industry standards and specifications relevant to below slab vapor protection.
- Identify ideal specification language that will effectively reduce deficiencies in vapor barrier/retarders.
