Name: Tim Evans
Title: Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Stramit USA
Background: Tim Evans is Stramit’s Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing. His expertise in the areas of sales management, brand development, and marketing management bring breadth and depth to Stramit’s launch. He has extensive past experience in leadership and management that has proven successful in his many endeavors.
From 2005 until 2010, Mr. Evans was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Agriboard Industries in Wichita, Kan. Agriboard’s focus was on designing and building structures that are faster, safer, more energy efficient, and sustainable. Agriboard’s embedded energy study resulted in a “negative carbon footprint certification.”
Prior to Agriboard, Tim Evans held the role of President and General Manager at Southwest Commercial Awning Co. in Fort Worth, Texas, where he managed all operations of the commercial awning business, growing core business by 145 percent in just two years. Mr. Evans and Southwest Commercial Awning were recognized repeatedly, including being named Employer of the Year by the Fort Worth Rotary Club.
Tim also spent time with United Distillers/Guinness PLC in both Stamford, Conn., and Dallas, Texas. He was Vice President of Sales Development and Southwest Division Manager during the 1990s. Work in Honk Kong, Indonesia, England, Scotland, France, and Switzerland followed, as well as serving as Project Director of a major re-engineering initiative that led to $33 million in case-inventory overhead savings.
Additional experience included having served as Southwest Division Manager at Hiram Walker/Allied Vintners, Central Division Manager at Bacardi Imports Inc, and Sales Representative/Key Account Management at Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Administrative Management from the University of North Texas.
