Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Identify the performance requirements of architectural and industrial protective coatings and discuss coating selection considerations.
Compare eco-durable, industrial strength coatings to their traditional counterparts in terms of their chemical make-up, durability, and resulting impact on the environment.
Discuss how eco-durable, industrial strength coatings meet the specialized needs of different substrates with case studies and application guides, while addressing today’s concerns regarding air quality and the sustainable built environment.
Recognize the sustainable performance benefits of eco-durable, industrial strength coatings in terms of their very low VOC content, anti-slip coefficient, hardness, flexibility, adhesion, and anti-graffiti applications (durable and chemical resistant).
Analyze the sustainability benefits and performance criteria of eco-durable, industrial strength coatings relative to qualifying for credits under green building programs and meeting environmental regulations.

Jason has been with Xylexin company since their opening, working with the master chemists, and has held several positions as foreman, project manager, and currently as Director of Training and Certification where he oversees all applications of Xylexin products and training of partners and customers.
