Name: Jane Koechlin
Title: Architectural /Technical Department, Earthcore Industries, LLC / Isokern Fireplaces
Background: Jane came into the industry with an extensive background in sales, architectural and civil engineering experience. Hired by Earthcore Industries in early 2008 with a degree in AutoCAD Drafting & Design, Jane is responsible for the technical/architectural department which oversees testing new products, listings, quality control, product development, professional associations, and custom design.
Jane is also the government liaison for Earthcore and the hearth industry. She is working directly with EPA, Cal-Green and other governmental jurisdictions to build awareness of the new ASTM standards for fireplace emissions and the technologies advancing clean air initiatives. A primary responsibility of her position is the education, clarification and definition of the different standards governing the different appliances on the market to architects, builders and inspectors.
