Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

  • Relate the negative environmental impacts of the “collect, convey, discharge” doctrine.
  • Describe a sustainable hydrological site design.
  • List a number of site conditions that need to be known in order to perform calculations for a PICP system.
  • Relate two methods for determining peak runoff volume.
  • Summarize inputs required to calculate base depth using the ICPI equations.
  • Employ tabular data for determining approximate depth of base for specific traffic conditions.
