Background: Mike Pidlisecky, currently Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Woodtone, has worked in the coatings industry for the past nine years specializing in exterior building products and exterior coatings applications. Mike has been involved in dealer, distributor, builder and architect training programs across North America, Japan, and Korea, focusing on products that provide value add opportunities for the end user. He works closely with National paint companies ensuring the latest in coating technologies, including environmentally friendly coatings are integrated into process resulting in long term weathering performance on exterior building products. Mike studied at both the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University with a BA in Communications and Executive Program certification in Internet Marketing. As a member advisor on the Business Innovation Program for the forestry sector in British Columbia, Mike is well versed in the value add lumber and coating industry.
