Presenter Information
Name: Grason Cook
Title: Commercial Director, Alucoil North America, Alucoil North America
Background: Grason Cook has been a part of the construction industry for 18 years. Starting out, he worked for ABC Supply, the largest distributor of roofing products in the US. Though roofing was the larger percentage of sales, residential and commercial siding components were also a part of the business. After deciding to pursue the commercial sector, Grason spent the next 9 years working in an architectural sales capacity for two companies, one specializing in fiber cement and one in phenolic panels. This work was concentrated in architects' and designers' offices and kept him close to industry concerns such as “real life” rainscreen applications, fire code compliance, and energy efficiency. For the last 7.5 years, Grason has headed up the sales team for Alucoil in the US and Canada and has expanded Alucoil to hundreds of customers. Alucoil markets two panels in the North American market: larson Aluminum Composite Panels and larcore Aluminum Honeycomb Panels.
