Presented by: Hadi Boustani, CHUTES International
Name: Hadi Boustani
Title: President and Owner, CHUTES International
Talk about a wide and diverse background, Hadi Boustani, originally from Lebanon, has worked all over the world. With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from California University and a Masters in Construction Management from the University of Michigan, Hadi has worked in Paris, France, Saudi Arabia, Washington, DC, and the Ivory Coast to name a few.
In 1989, he settled in the Maryland area and, spotting an interesting and unique ‘niche’ in the construction market, he became involved with CHUTES, a small company of only a handful of employees, a single product and a target market of the MD, DC, VA area.
Over the 23 years since, CHUTES International has expanded its product line to include plastic chutes, flat chutes, internal trash, linen & recycling chutes, compactors, baggers, odor control systems, and a complete service department. Several of these products are patented, new innovations and inventions to the industry. In addition to product development, its target market has also developed and expanded - not only to the entire US, but internationally as well – including sales to Finland, Aruba, Canada, Germany, and Puerto Rico.
Hadi's future plans for CHUTES are to continue with CHUTES’ growth and expansion through dealers and distributors, as well as to remain committed to their continuous improvement policy through product development and lean manufacturing, all while keeping focused on providing exceptional customer service and top quality products.
