Post-COVID-19 Office Furniture Solutions

There have been many changes to life as we know it because of the emergence of the virus known as SARS-CoV-2. Organizations must be willing to adapt to ensure the safety of employees when workplaces reopen. This nano course examines various furniture retrofit methods, workstation flow, physical distancing arrangements, and disinfection procedures to ensure the health and safety of the occupants.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Describe how furniture retrofits such as stack-ons and add-ons can increase partition height to maintain physical distance.
• Identify methods to increase safety for employees within an office design including traffic flow and workstation placement.
• Discuss preferred materials for sanitizing, UV-C disinfection, and office dedensification for improved employee well-being.
