This is a required training course for those who have accepted the role of reviewing an AXP Portfolio for an employee they supervise. It explains the supervisor’s role and obligations in the licensure process for the candidate.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Perform the role of an AXP Supervisor in the Portfolio review process, specifically recalling that it carries an ethical obligation (as described in the video portion of this course), and it includes advising candidates on how best to demonstrate their competency of the 96 tasks identified in AXP with their exhibits.
- Discern between appropriate and inappropriate exhibits.

Background: Before joining NCARB as the Assistant Vice President of Experience + Education, Jeremy worked as a designer and project architect for 22 years at various firms in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. Jeremy is passionate about helping architects become their best through excellence in education, training, and management practices.
Jeremy received his BArch from Ball State University and his MA in education and human development from the George Washington University. He is a registered architect in Virginia and Indiana and has extensive volunteer leadership experience. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and holds the NCARB Certificate for national reciprocity.
