Name: Andi Wagner Watts & Jarrett Davis
Title: Commercial Wall Application Technology Leader & Principal Building Scientist, DuPont Performance Building Solutions
Background:
Andi Wagner Watts is the Commercial Wall Application Technology Leader for DuPont Performance Building Solutions. In her current role, she is focused on improving the overall air/water/thermal performance of the building envelope through application innovation and new product development. Andrea has authored articles, papers, and conference presentations relating to building air/water tightness, interface details, building science, durability, and resiliency and she holds two patents. She is a LEED® Green Associate and is active in a number of industry organizations, including ASTM, and is the cochair of the Technical Committee at ABAA.
Andrea holds a bachelor's degree of science in civil engineering from Cornell University. Her prior roles for Dow Corning and Dow Chemical focused on preventing air and water infiltration through the building envelope. She has successfully helped to develop many products including sealants and air/water barrier system solutions.
Jarrett Davis is a Principal Building Scientist with DuPont. He is responsible for product research and development and the implementation of proposed materials and solutions within the market, and was the initial innovator of the ArmorWall family of products. Jarrett was previously the General Manager for MaxLife Industries and led its acquisition team during the purchase by DuPont. In the past, Jarrett’s research, product development, and sales activities have earned MaxLife Industries a series of national awards, including The Architect’s Newspaper's Best of Products Award in 2020 and honorable mention in 2021, and Construction Tech Review’s Modular Product of the Year in 2019 for the #ArmorWall Structural Insulated Sheathing product line, which he has been developing since 2010.
Jarrett's previous roles and committees include the Director of Building Science for a national architecture and engineering testing firm, building and energy code committees, an expert witness, and a building enclosure commissioning agent.
Outside of work, Jarrett enjoys spending time teaching his children how to fly and helping friends with construction projects.
