This course focuses on the use of silicone in fluid-applied air & water barrier (AWB) systems. Participants will be presented with various topics that cover the basics and benefits of an AWB system as well as innate silicone behaviors, installation details and application limits.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Learn what Silicone is, why and when it was developed, and where is it most commonly used.
• Understand the fundamental behaviors and benefits of Silicone rubber.
• Review the basic requirements of Air, Water and Vapor control products.
• Review application limits and common installation details of a silicone AWB system.
