Using Large-Format Modular Concrete Panels for Outdoor Applications

Large format modular concrete panels (LFMCP) offer a clean, simple to design solution for outdoor kitchens, planter boxes, firepits and more. Because of their size labor time is saved by speed of installation that uses stainless steel hardware. An overview of the outdoor living industry and options, installation, design options and project examples will be reviewed.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Identify latest outdoor living trends and four industry responses to these trends with considerations of each.
• Match large-format concrete panel systems to appropriate outdoor applications.
• List the components required to complete these systems.
• Visualize basic installation steps and locate additional design resources.
